Who are we?
Beeches IT is a collaboration between professionals with complementary skills in information technology, web design and development. We’re based in Carshalton, were founded in 2015 and specialise in helping local small businesses and individuals succeed online.
The name and logo derive from Carshalton Beeches station, which is named after its location on Beeches Avenue (to distinguish it from the other Carshalton station), a road lined by attractive beech trees. Many local businesses use "Beeches" in their name and local people will recognise the location. The middle leaf in our logo has a copper colour because some beech trees have this characteristic. The domain beeches.it was available and short so we grabbed it.
Phil McKerracher
Phil has a degree in electrical engineering and over 20 years’ experience as a software developer in telecommunications, also concentrating recently on web development and hosting. His technical skills make our sites load quickly and reliably on any device and allow you to take advantage of free open-source software to simplify life for you and your customers and keep running costs low.
Alan Rowe
Alan has a degree in graphic design and over 20 years’ experience as a freelance illustrator, most recently concentrating on web development. His design skills ensure the web sites we create make good use of graphics, colours, fonts and layout to communicate your message clearly and consistently.
Phillip McKerracher is a “one in a Million” type of person. He is thorough and he “talks up to you” and not “down to you”. I have had many dealings with him over the past 10 years and every time, he has come up with a solution and resolved various issues across the spectrum of IT.
